empty

It is always a pet peeve of mine that the Shampoo and Conditioner bottle never empty at the same, so imagine my delight when tonight they did both empty at the same time. :)Super happy.

Before it was always due to the fact that everyone else in the family used the same stuff but since I bought my oh so nice Pantene for myself, I control the use and I can make sure that I finish both at the same time.

Really Random but it makes me happy.
Back to Uni tommomrow, Essay due on Thursday, and two mid-terms to prepare for the week after. Yay.

XP, a cold and 20/20

well Helen didn’t end up going out last night, I decided that my cold was just too bad to let it be worsened by various drinks. Instead Sean and I went to see Robots – mighty funny movie, as he was a bit sore and tired from two Cricket 20/20 games that day.

My cold is still aweful, my nose feels like it is water tap. I upgraded from Win2k to XP today and thought I had backed everything up, after two formats of my hard drive I realise that I forgot to back up the emails and bookmarks. DOH. Double Doh. They probably needed a clean out anyway but not cleaning everything.

Went with to Sean to watch the last game in the 20/20 comp today. I must say I quite like watching this style of cricket, I think 30/30 would be better to allow more batters to bat. The team did win though after two losses yesterday. A show of great batting, bowling and fielding today. Great work Giant Killers. Photos and more text still to come. Have to go to bed

Helen’s going out

MUM’S GOING OUT
The Whitlams
Mum’s going out gotta put some more petrol on
Gimmie a yippee, oi oi oi
When she started screaming nearly pissed my pants with joy
‘Cause she loves me and wants me to be a happy boy

It’s a short song but I love it, except I am singing Helen’s going out. Cory, Sam and I are heading out for a jaunt in the valley tonight whilst Sean will be rocking it up with Prawnstars at the Vic. A fun night for all is assured.

Won’t be having to many drinks tonight, due to the not so funness of having a cold.
The last saturday before the mid-semester break ends on Tuesday.

Skonsur

Whenever we have excess milk in the fridge or Pabbi or I feel like taking the time, we make Skonsur (singular skonsa), which are a thick pancake like bread substitute.
Skonsur

Ingredients.
2 cups plain flour (sifted)
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp lyftiduft/baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups Milk

Method:Mix together all dry ingredients, add the eggs and milk, beat till smooth, more milk may be needed for the right consistency.
Pour soup ladle size dollops on greased pancake skillets(seen in this image or frying pan at a medium heat and cook on both sides. Desired size is plate size and thickness is about 1cm (3/8″).
Use instead of bread in sandwiches, or serve warm with slices of cheese or butter, I love having skonsur with cheese and ham for lunches at uni. So yummy and filling.

30 easter eggs

I recieved a carton of Cadbury Easter Eggs from Sean’s parents however it was only after eating most of them that I decided to take some photos, for the effect I wanted though, I simply did not have enough eggs. Luckily for me though the shops still had plenty of eggs leftover and now at half price:) So today before work I bought two more cartons of eggs, so I can take the photos I want to take tommorow when I have some light about. I am so tempted to reach over and eat one or two now but I know if I eat them, I will have less to photograph tommorow so must leave them alone. :(:( Coming tommorow, 30 easter eggs, two cameras, two tripods, one light, one reflector and one photographer πŸ™‚
