Me thinks you forgot to add the fatty elements in the recipe.  Butter would be best, but vegetable oil can also be used.  

Apart from that important addition, this is a good reicipe.  I actually had to add half a cup of flour to make it thick enough to become Skonsur, and not Icelandic pancakes.
